Hi Norman ,
Thank you for your email. I have sold the Vista because I
have other detectors that perform the same. This is not to say that I do not
rate the Vista as a good detector because I do , it excels in "iron see
through", but my hearing is not what it should be (EX infantry soldier) and I
struggled to hear deep signals. In air tests showed a pre decimal British
penny at 14" and a hammered medieval penny at 9",the vista also gave a good
diggable signal on the hammered coin underneath a 3" nail. In ground tests
proved that the Vista coped very well with a highly mineralised site that
the Tesoro Vaquero struggled on. If the audio had been stronger I would have kept the Vista.
